This isn’t a new song but a new music video created by a fan that I came across on YouTube. I must say – I don’t like the graphics too much but other parts are very creative such as the beginning when the professor is talking to her. It’s gaining a lot of popularity and is now featured on some popular sites so I thought I’d share it here.
The song is about a professor who lost his daughter and decided to make a robotic replacement as close as possible to his daughter, his last project was the heart (Kokoro = Heart) but he died before he could finish it, far into the future the robot tried to finish the heart and after doing so placed it within herself. she later learned about his lost daughter and was overcome by emotion to the point where she completely broke down. It’s an interesting song and I liked it in the live concerts but there are other kokoro videos I like a little more.
Sailor moon has quite a complex and in-depth storyline. To give an example, there’s an entire wiki-based website dedicated to detail the entire storyline and it’s events, it’s been open for some time and the contributors are still adding new information. That is, the reality of separate kingdoms allied together and the general goals of each kingdom which frequently collide with others causing outbreaks of war including any disagreements and such plus wars over kingdoms wishing to conqueror. Sailor V which covers the long history both in the storyline and in real-life on Sailor Venus and how she came to be in the Sailor Moon Series from her own series called Codename Sailor V
This will describe the storyline ahead, or the series storyline that the manga, anime, and to some extent, the live-action is based off of.
Codename "Sailor V" Cover
Long after the destruction of the Moon Kingdom and the obliteration of all the allied planets kingdoms and their residents, Most everyone had been reborn most with no recollection of their past lives or “Original” lives before they were killed. Things developed very differently for each person reborn. Sailor Moon and the other Inner Soldiers were reborn with no previous knowledge of the past live. Sailor Venus on the other hand, had been reborn and gained not only her Sailor Power back but all of her past life memories as well long before the other sailor soldiers had realized exactly who they were. Venus even started crime-fighting solo and gained popularity leading to talk of “Sailor V” after which many manga and video games were made from.
Inner Sailor Soldiers
The other Sailor Soldiers realized who they were in general much later on but each shortly after the other (not all at once). The Outer Senshi were actually never reborn, so to speak, they were technically reborn sometime in-between the destruction of the Moon Kingdom and the rebirth of the people killed so they visit the other Sailor Soldiers later on in the series with the help of Sailor Pluto. Pluto is the only exception, she was reborn at the same time as everyone else but not on Earth like the other soldiers. Pluto was reborn on her own planet doing her duties as keeper of time and space. She acts as a midway point for many important events in future episodes.
Tuxedo Mask
Prince Endymion was killed during one of the Moon Kingdom parties when he was courting Princess Serenity, therefore he was reborn a bit differently. He was more or less not reborn but more appeared in the future still in his Tuxedo clothing. He had reappeared with no memory of who he was or his past life so he gave himself the nickname “Tuxedo Mask” since he didn’t know his real name or identity but made it his mission to find out his identity. Queen Beryl had captured and brainwashed Kunzite, Zoisite, and Nephrite into working with and fully obeying her without question. She and them were both reborn on the Dark Moon with all of their memories and thus she rebuilt her empire and tries to launch several attacks and conqueror the planet Earth. Each attack is basically an individual episode.
Princess Serenity
Venus, while working separately from the other soldiers for quite some time, eventually shows up and joins the group. Afterwards, Tuxedo Mask discovers Usagi, Sailor Moon’s civilian name, true identity as Sailor Moon. A metamorphic event happens where Sailor Moon discovers she’s actually also Princess Serenity, upon discovering this Tuxedo Mask finally remembers his identity as Prince Endymion. Shortly after, a final battle with Queen Beryl proves victorious but at the cost of everyone’s life except for Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion.
Sailor Chibi Moon
From there the story arc extends, Sailor Pluto becomes a very important figure as the keeper of time and space and allows Sailor Chibi Moon, Sailor Moon Daughter from the future, to join Sailor Moon and the other Sailor soldiers in the past for protection since the future is in great danger from an impending attack on Tokyo and Sailor Chibi Moon has what they’re looking for. The outer soldiers also come into play later on again through Sailor Pluto, this time from the mid-past. At some point Sailor Pluto was able to hand down her position to someone else temporarily so she could join the Sailor Soldiers.
After many enemies (each in their own story arc), the final enemy turns out to also be a Sailor Soldier and introduces many more foreign soldiers to the picture. Sailor Galaxia is a possessed Sailor Soldier who’s the strongest soldier in the galaxy. She is a good Sailor Scout who conquered all evil in the Galaxy and sealed it inside of herself. Upon doing so evil took possession of her and starting doing the reverse, conquering all good from the Galaxy. The last solar system left to be conquered was the one Earth is in. Another solar system with Sailor Soldiers flee to Earth’s Solar System for shelter and defense against the upcoming attack from Galaxia. Like the other story arcs Galaxia sends other controlled pawns to steadily attack Earth until finally Galaxia herself shows up, she was unable to do so before because the planets protector, Prince Endymion, was still alive so after killing him she was able to show up herself.
Sailor Galaxia
After an all-out war with Galaxia and the death of all the sailor soldiers including the foreign soldiers and mostly Sailor Moon, a tiny window of opportunity arose which Sailor Moon grasped and finally managed to release the evil from Sailor Galaxia freeing her from her prison within her body.
This is just a summary of the storyline – like I said entire projects have been created to put everything down on paper. Below is the final clip of the end of the Sailor Moon series with Galaxia (A really really good and very moving episode). Youtube has put restrictions on it because it didn’t pass the American Rating System so I don’t know how it will play on your end but it plays fine on my end.

Each planet had a kingdom which was guarded by a powerful protector who was born from the very element of the planet to which she is to protect and is known as the Sailor Soldier, elite protector of the planets kingdom. All the planets in our solar system were strongly allied among each other. The leader of this alliance was the Moon Kingdom because the royal family who lived there was the most powerful. The Moon Kingdom was so powerful, in fact, that natives born there could not die of natural age or disease all because of the power alone. The entire Moon Kingdom power rested within the Silver Millennium Crystal.
Earth was a slightly different story, they resided in the dark ages at a time when all the continents were connected and ruled by a single kingdom. Earth was also not at peace, they often had battles and conflicts between each other and many times were at war. Because they were in the dark ages they knew nothing of such things as other planets, stars, and such. Most especially, they never suspected that there were people living on the moon they see every night. Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom kept it this way and intentionally isolated herself from Earth. Despite this isolation, she did have a soft spot for them in her heart and longed for a time when all the planets would be allied in unification. She also strongly desired to help them get out of the dark ages and become technologically advanced.
One day, Queen Serenity gave in to her soft spot and made contact with Earth. She successfully established alliance with Earth and began trading with them. The Moon Kingdom was highly sophisticated and advanced plus they could develop technology that is impossible to develop on Earth. The Queen also setup a means of free passage between Earth and the other planets. Now her vision of the ideal future was complete and every one of the planets within the Solar system were allied in one unification.
The alliance with Earth was very exciting and everyone welcomed Humanity. Shortly after, a prince by the name of Prince Endymion from Earth met the beautiful Princess Serenity from the Moon Kingdom. They both fell deeply in love and wanted to get married but Queen Serenity expressly forbid the marriage, Earth was allied with the other planets but it's still a separate kingdom meaning Prince Endymion was foreign to the Moon Kingdom and could never be engaged to anyone of that Kingdom.
Prince Endymion and Princess Serenity's love only got stronger and they began to get desperate. They began to arrange secret dates on Earth and the Moon. Often, Prince Endymion would attend parties held by the Moon Kingdom by dressing in a Tuxedo with a white mask on. This effectively concealed his identity from Queen Serenity and the Imperial Guards allowing him to court the Princess in secret. They knew this couldn't be kept up forever but were unsure what to do next.
Prince Endymion was the most honored and highest reputable prince on Earth. He had 4 loyal subjects, Nephrite, Zoisite, Kunzite, and Jedeite whom he closely trained. They began to notice the prince leaving for absence more and more frequently to the Moon Kingdom. Eventually they brought up this matter in front of him and explained he needed to get back to his duties as Prince. Queen Serenity also noticed Princess Serenity leaving very often as well for small periods of time. It was apparent something was going on.
An unexpected twist of events started happening on Earth which tore this secret relationship up. An evil person by the name of Beryl was starting a protestor group against the Moon Kingdom. She claimed that the Moon Kingdom was evil and must be destroyed at once. More and more people gathered together on her group until she could finally denounce herself leader after which she became known as Queen Beryl. It wasn't long before the central Kingdom on Earth agreed with her opinions and united with her making her the most powerful Queen on Earth.
Queen Beryl announced one night that that night they would lead a surprise attack on the Moon Kingdom and kill every baby, child, and adult in existence plus obliterate the Kingdom to dust. Prince Endymion, being the prince, knew of this plan and rushed to the Moon Kingdom to inform them of this attack. He requested to immediately defect to the Moon Kingdom and abandon his citizenship with Earth. Queen Serenity agreed under these given conditions and gave final consent for marriage after the battle.
The imperial soldiers of the moon kingdom lined up in preparation for battle. Sailor Moon and the allied Sailor Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto joined forces along with their soldiers. Queen Serenity was sure this was enough so she stood back and waited from her tower but the attack came in numbers so much larger than they expected. The Moon Kingdom was enormously outnumbered and was taken easily. Queen Beryl personally killed Prince Endymion, the traitor, directly in front of Princess Serenity. Out of grieve, the princess tried to kill Beryl but Queen Beryl was too strong and quickly killed her as well.
By then the Moon Kingdom had fallen, everyone but Queen Serenity and her 2 advisers Luna and Artemis had been killed. Queen Serenity, now without any kingdom and family, was greatly grieved and angered. She had to put a stop to this and she could. The Silver Millennium crystal is the lifeline of the Moon Kingdom and the source of all it's power. It works 2 ways, to give life or to emit power. Queen Serenity, the most powerful figure in the solar system, could easily wipe all evil away but at the cost of using all the crystals power in place of life energy. In other words, she would have to give up her life in order to produce enough power to defeat the enemy.
Being that her daughter was now dead, her kingdom destroyed and everyone she knew now killed. It wasn't a difficult option. She released her life through the crystal and in a blinding light trapped the enemy and everyone else including her own people who were already dead into a sphere. She now had 2 options, to destroy the sphere and forever kill Queen Beryl and her troops, or to send the sphere into the future where everyone can be reborn including her own people and her daughter who were killed. She decided on the 2nd choice even if it meant Queen Beryl would be reborn.
After sending all the souls into the future to be reborn, she died. But right before she died, and right before her advisers were sent to be reborn she gave them special instructions. "The biggest tragedy of this is that my daughter will never know who I am and will never remember all the memories we had together. She will only remember the facts of what happened. Luna, Artemis, when the time is right, you will remember everything. Find my daughter and gather the rest of the soldiers. She will be the only one who can prevent the events from happening again."

This is just a quick blog entry. Both of these 2 episodes were really 2 separate parts, part 1 being where Sailor Moon gets killed and part 2 where she’s brought back, among many other significant events.
Both of these were pretty good although they’re certainly not my favorite because of the introduction of “Sailor Luna” who, in my opinion, should have been left the way she was like every other media (Manga [Japanese Comic book], Anime [Japanese Animation], and the Musical) all of which didn’t include “Sailor Luna”.
The live-action introduces radical changes in the original storyline and I like most of them but I think they should have left Luna the way she was.
This is a video I found on YouTube, It’s a short but deep segment about Takuto singing Mitsuki’s song while she was asleep. Takuto wasn’t casually singing the song, he was putting a lot of deep feelings into the lyrics. In reality, Takuto was sad, alone, and helpless since his punishment for not taking life serious when he was alive was to be an angel of death, a half-angel who kills people when it’s their time to die.
He was expressing his sorrow and misery through the words of the song to which Mitsuki picked up on. Video below:
