Review of Kaze No Stigma Episode 1

April 2, 2012 in Kaze no Stigma

I think this looks like an interesting anime, a guy from a family that practices fire magic instead practices wind magic which is a big disgrace to the family. I like anime with a lot of action and wile this had a lot of fighting scenes it just didn’t have that depth other anime have, kind of boring, but I’ll watch a few more episodes to see if that changes. In this episode the main character was also framed for several murders in the family by an unknown entity so his family now thinks he killed the members but he handled it very flatly or in other words he just kind of set back and said oh well, I would have liked to see more emotion involved and maybe some more action. A good rule of thumb is you can’t judge an anime by the first 3 episodes so I’ll watch further into the series but it didn’t seem that interesting.

On a different note, the graphics, drawings, and special effects were pretty good so this anime appears to have a good budget, I’ll see how it plays out.

Finished Shugo Chara Episode 74

November 24, 2011 in Shugo Chara

I decided to blog about this one because it was a really funny episode all the way through, Amu rescued Ikuto from a dangerous situation and brought him back to her house. The whole episode really took place in her room minus a few brief other places.

Amu was having to deal with Ikuto throughout the episode until Tadase came over to her house. Amu had to hide Ikuto in her closet so Tadase wouldn’t know about him being over. It turned out that Tadase came over to confess his feelings for Amu and wanted them to be in a relationship.

Most of the episode was Tadase trying to get around to confess to her but at the end Ikuto did some mocking to her over their relationship and then very lightly confessed he felt the same way but quickly glossed over it so both of them never really gave it much thought.

The entire episode was hilarious, below is 2 clips:

Finished Shugo Chara – Episode 65

November 16, 2011 in Shugo Chara

This episode was the continuation of Episode 64 where Ikuto was sleeping in Ami’s Bed. I found this episode so funny all the way through. Ami couldn’t figure out how to sleep with Ikuto in her bed so she stayed up all night. The next morning school was cancelled due to a lot of snow so she had to take her little baby sister out to the park to play in it. Desperately trying to get back and keep her parents from fining out that Ikuto, for reasons unknown to her as well, was sleeping in her bed.

She never made it back until that night but Ikuto’s Chara helped keep him safe. That night Ikuto was allowed to stay another night but not in her bed and out of sight from her parents.

It turns out that Ikuto broke into Easter Corporation and stole his violin back, he was unaware of the experiments they were doing to it. The violin was leaking negative and dark energy on his journey back to his house. It overloaded his body and he eventually collapsed to the ground outside in a snow storm.

Ikuto’s chara urged him to find shelter or he’ll die from the extreme temperatures but he couldn’t move. Ikuto’s Chara then transformed with him to give him enough energy to make it to the nearest shelter and so he picked Ami’s house. —- This is why he was sleeping in her bed and Ami was a bit more understanding after she got the real story.

Finished Shugo Chara Episode 64

November 15, 2011 in Shugo Chara

Nothing really exciting happens in this episode, I found it sort of boring actually. There were a few surprises though and a few significant events occurred. First of all, the storyline is really delving into Lulu, the new enemy which replaced Utau. She had a very large role in this episode and it really just followed her towards the middle. Amu wasn’t really doing anything great in the first place either.

The real surprise was that when Amu went to sleep she discovered Ikuto snoozing in her bed, already asleep. Just seeing the expression on her face alone was priceless.A preview of the episode is below, all the last segments have been removed from YouTube.

Re-Watched Sailor Moon Live Action – Episode 20

November 15, 2011 in Sailor Moon

I have finished watching the Sailor Moon Live Action – Episode 20 which marks the start of the next half of the storyline. Episode 20 is a continuation of episode 19 which was a filler episode. Episode 20, however, is very significant as it displays a major event that will continue on for many episodes and be the ultimate cause for all the other storyline changing events.

Despite the care-free version of the storyline thus far and the continuation of the filler episode 19, the end of this episode is highly significant and, as mentioned above, will trigger many major storyline changes.

The “happy” segment is over along with the first half of the storyline. From here on out things get much more dramatic and much more complicated.

In this episode, Sailor Jupiter determines the real identity of Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Mercury was captured by Kunzite.
