Finished Episode 3 of this anime, things are looking slightly better and the storyline is finally revealing some of the arches coming up and explaining some events that didn’t make sense way back in episode 1.
I’m still not sure I’ll like it and am still not leaning in any one direction (against or towards it). It’s just the type of anime, your either a fan of it or not and I’m not much of one. I might change the anime I’m watching to Tokyo Mew Mew instead.
The first part is below (It’s fandubbed in English, couldn’t find 2nd part Englished subbed)

I finished episode 2 of Hayate no Gotoku, and I’m beginning to understand why parts of it don’t make much sense. The reason is it’s not suppose to make any sense, it’s simply the type of anime. This type often has random rules and events that don’t make any sense but despite the fact that they may be significant they’re meaningless. The only important part of the show is the core plot.
Or in other words, it’s just a very random anime about the complicated relation between the new butler and her, everything else is completely and totally random following no rules or storyline. I’ll watch the 3rd episode to see if it get’s a little better but the next anime on my list is “Tokyo Mew Mew” if this anime doesn’t work out.

I finished the first episode of Hayate no Gotoku based on a trial to see if I want to dedicate to the anime or not. I thought the anime was interesting, to say the least, so I’m not sure if I want to dedicate yet. Asatte no Houkou was also like that and I ended up really liking it so I’ll move on to episode 2.
I also expected, based on the description, a real kidnapping whom the kidnapped girl mistaked as an act of love (after the kidnapping) but the description is slightly inaccurate, the kidnapping never happens (it was a total failure from the beginning) and the girl (who’s very rich) hires him as a butler instead.
Also the beginning never made any sense to me (there was no explanation abut anything at the beginning and seemed very out of place with the rest of the episode) and several key events in the episode storyline seemed very random having no explanation as to how any why this happened yet they were critical events.
I’ll watch the second episode since, with anime, you can -never- judge the first episode but as of now it just seems largely random and unplanned. It got really good reviews and such so I’ll see.
The last part of the episode is below but some guy at youtube had this idea that it would be better if he uploaded it upside down, since it’s the only video I could find – it’s all I have to show as a reference video

It’s been 2 day’s since I saw a new anime episode, I recently finished all 200 episodes of Sailor Moon (no more to watch), thus I’ve been in a sort of gray area.
Normally I quickly choose the next anime on the list but I had placed Shugo Chara on pause to give Sailor Moon highest priority so the next logical step would be to come back to Shugo Chara. The issue with that is after the 1st story arc, things went downhill for the show and now it’s just dumb to watch.
I really don’t want to make myself watch a little over 50 more episodes just to finish the show when it’s no longer any good so what to do next?
I decided to not finish Shugo Chara and pick another anime from the list, after careful consideration I chose Hayate no Gotoku which had excellent reviews and ratings. It’s about a boy who’s parents get deep into debt and decide to sell they’re son for money, to prevent being sold the “good kid” turns “bad guy” and kidnaps a girl to be held for ransom (and ultimately use that money to payoff they’re parents debt). Unfortunately things backfire when the kidnapped girl mistakes the kidnapping for an act of love.
It seems interesting so I thought I’d give it a try.
